Avatar 2: Everything You Need to Know

Avatar is an American science fiction released in the year 2009. It’s been more than a decade since James Cameron’s big movie hit the screen. The movie is counted the best in terms of graphics and storyline, no wonder why Cameron is spectacular at creating such content.

Avatar was planned to be released in 1999 after Cameron’s movie ‘Titanic’ but couldn’t because of lack of technology to create the exact vision. Thus, Cameron started working on the movie in 2006 and described the movie as a futuristic tale. “Every science fiction read in the childhood is the inspiration”, Cameron said.

The film received positive feedback and praise from the critics and created magic on the box office. Not only it broke the box office records, but it also became the best-selling movie of 2010. The film also got nominated for nine awards and won three of them, which were ‘Best Art Direction,’ ‘Best Cinematography,’ and ‘Best Visual Effects.’

The Avatar 2 was expected to release by the end of 2020, but due to some delays, the movie will not be released until next year. Fans are not happy about the movie delay news but are curiously waiting for the next part. According to the reports from the media, a total of four sequels are planned to release till 2027, out of which the second sequel will release in 2021.

As per the sources, the movie has already completed its shoot, but the team is working on its graphics to bring out the best for its fans. Not only this will take a while, but all the other planned sequels will be delayed as well.

This is just like a feast to note that all the characters from the ‘Avatar’ will return in the sequel as well.  Zoe Saldana will return as Na’vi princess Neytiri, along with Sam Worthington who is turned from a human to Na’vi.

The characters of Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang died in the first part, regardless of which they’ll be returning to the sequel. Weaver is well committed to the movie as she is practicing to dive in preparation for the movie.  “Avatar’s sequel will break the box office records currently held by the Avengers: Endgame,” Lang said.

Other characters like CCH Pounder, Matt Gerald, Oona Chaplin, and Cliff Curtis will also be seen in the sequel.
